The colour that is lost with death, Three Screening Video Installation, 1min 40sec; 1min 40sec; 29min 51sec, Dimensions Variable,  2019.

We are mindful of our bodies. The unexpected, ominous diseases always seemed impossible to us. Acnes that suddenly appear on our bodies, broken ankles that never fully recover, wrists that all of a sudden cannot exert force, waists that for some reason lost their flexibility…changes like these force us to know our bodies.

We have a subjective superstition in our bodies, which collapses when our bodies undergo unexpected changes. So we act in self-contradictory ways, we want to prevent diseases, but when we needed to overwork our bodies, we opt for self-deception and compensatory mentalities. Perhaps what we fear is not death, but pain and torment. In other words, if death was a painless ‘disappearance’, if we only exist as physical bodies that cannot feel pain, then perhaps our fear of disease and death will disappear as well.

The content of the videos is as follows: on the double screen, a close-up of human legs standing and urinating purple urine; on the third screen, a performer drinks water and metabolizes it through exercise.
